Tiny Tips: neutral nail polish

Do you have a spring performance coming up?  If you want your nails to look nice and make your port-de-bras more graceful, give yourself the gift of a professional manicure or a DIY pamper session.  Choose a neutral nail color like sheer baby pink (or another sheer and non-glittery shade that complements your skin and natural nail colors).   If you are doing your own mani, trim your nails and neatly file them (this will prevent them from getting caught on your tights), but leave a little length.  This will make your arms and hands appear longer and thinner, which reads as more graceful from the audience.

 If you have a long run of shows and don’t want to your polish to chip, opt for a gel manicure.  Pale pinks and nudes are usually offered, and clear is always a choice if you want to steer clear of color altogether.
