What are compression sleeves?

Compression sleeves are tight tubes of stretchy fabric that put pressure on muscles that are prone to cramping and soreness (usually the calves for dancers).  The tight fabric holds and compresses muscles in a similar way to a massage or rolling out.  This prevents muscle cramps and alleviates lactic acid buildup, which overall contributes to happier, healthier muscles.

If you experience bad muscle cramps, slather on some muscle pain relief cream like Icy Hot before sliding on your compression sleeve.  The combination is great for providing quick relief, especially when you are trying to rest.
